Brand, Grady (c.1960 - )He grew up in Bayswater, WA.
After studying horticulture at TAFE, he started as a trainee at Kings Park in 1978, working in all sections of the park.
After 2000 he was senior curator, responsible for more than 50 staff.
Grady credits Professor Stephen Hopper, Kings Park director and chief executive from 1992 to 2004 as his inspiration.
He worked with Roger Fryer to coordinate the Kings Park and Botanic Garden Gold Medal-winning display at two Chelsea Flower Shows in the United Kingdom.
